Subexya Bhadel--Nepal’s top designer

Subexya Bhadel is a fashion designer who runs
Crossroads Apparel, a boutique located at
Lazimpat, Kathmandu Nepal. She designs for
normal clients and celebrities as well. Apart from
designing for our clients, they also do mass
production. For example, she designed uniforms
for many offices, bank and schools. During the
course of she work got lots of opportunities. She
said my clients liked my work and they believed
in me also they kept on giving me more work.
Furthermore she designed for TV commercial and
movies. She desigined for four Nepali movies till
now, and Mukhauta was the latest one. She had
a very good experience working on Mukhauta as
she got the opportunity to work with many
senior artists. She was very happy to be working
with them and she got to learn a lot from them
as well. It is through these experiences that we
learn, as you are not born with the knowledge.
She have also designing for many Miss Nepal
participates. One of them Nagma Shrestha
received the award for the best formal gown in
Miss Earth held in Philippines in 2012. That
provided she with future encouragement as it
was matter of pride not only me but also for the
all the Nepali designers. During the course work
she got opportunities to participate in much
fashion show.
Subexya has designed almost all types of
clothes. Now she has a label under her name
too. In just six years of opening this enterprise,
she has been a sought-after designer and even
been termed as “Nepal’s top designer. She
started out with NRs. 500000(USD 5500) but her
enterprise has grown immensely over time and
now, she even plans to move to mass production
of her designs.
